After reading Let My People Go Surfing by Yvon Chouinard I was inspired to create this work for Patagonia Trail Running.
While Patagonia makes money selling clothes, they actually encourage us to consume less. They make high-quality gear and encourage customers to fix/repair products rather than discarding and buying something new. Adopting this mentality can really make a difference in our environmental footprint.

I am very happy with how well these Patagonia designs translate to water bottles and other applications.
I found the phrase "we run to connect with nature" on Patagonia’s website and thought that a custom, hand-drawn illustration would do it more justice!
